Dr. Mark Wilson,
O.M.D., L.Ac., D.N.B.A.O.
Dr. Mark Wilson has practiced Classical Chinese Medicine for over 25 years. He is certified by the National Board of Acupuncture Orthopedics and has completed an acupuncture apprenticeship program with renowned sports medicine acupuncturist Whitfield Reaves in Boulder, CO. He has also studied extensively with Kiiko Matsumoto, an internationally known acupuncturist from Japan and has worked for four months in a traditional medical hospital in Guangzhou, China in 1986. In subsequent years, Mark Wilson completed training to become an O.M.D., which is a doctor of oriental medicine.
Furthermore, Dr. Wilson has studied with many well-known oriental medicine practitioners. A significant part of his practice is based on the Classical Chinese Medicine System as taught by Dr. Jeffrey Yuen. Dr. Yuen is an 88th generation Daoist Priest of the Jade Purity School and is recognized internationally as a Master of Acupuncture, Classical Chinese Medicine, Chinese Herbology, Daoism, Tan Chi Chuan, and Qi Gong. His unique style is the original orientation to Chinese Medicine and is a very comprehensive approach to diagnosis and healing. Dr. Wilson has found this approach to be more effective and work at a deeper level in the body versus Traditional Chinese Medicine, which is taught in other schools.
Dr. Wilson has experience treating almost any imaginable problem in his clinic, including infertility, autoimmune disorders, digestive problems, allergies, pain related issues (sports and work injuries/chronic and acute pain), gynecological issues, and thyroid issues. He also has extensive experience treating conditions which typically are hard to treat, including chronic fatigue syndrome, chronic infections, fibromyalgia, parasites, and Lyme disease.
Dr. Wilson welcomes anyone who seeks medical help; he is confident that he can help you.
